Safety Features

Safety features include;

 External hand or foot (optional) interlock switches must be closed to

energize high-voltage circuit.

 Dual ground required to energize high-voltage circuit.

 Circuit breaker for short-circuit protection.

 All controls at ground potential.

 Over-voltage protective devices prevent damage to test set in the event

of specimen breakdown.

 Low-voltage inputs are grounded when the test set is turned off or

between measurements.
